Poor sick girls!

The girls were sick this past week and they were so pitiful! They ran fevers around 103 for almost 4 days! It was a nasty virus that eventually led to ear infections, but they are finally on the mend. What a blessing it was to be able to stay home with them while they were sick - Monday was a holiday, I took Tuesday off, and then we've been off the rest of the week due to inclement weather...God is SO GOOD!  We spent lots of time snuggling!

Towards the end of the week, they started to feel better and we had to find lots of ways to pass the time inside while the weather was crummy.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

We had such a fun week celebrating Phil's birthday. The girls loved helping me decorate and even took it upon themselves to get all dressed up for the occasion. Happy Birthday!

Date Night

We had such a fun date night with our friends Kate and Matt at the Gun Range.

My "creative" side

I am so NOT creative. In fact, I'm pretty much the opposite of creative. Some friends and I went to Masterpiece Mixers for a fun girls' night of painting. I was skeptical at first - I wasn't sure I would be able to create something that I would actually be happy with. But, they really do such a great job "coaching" you through it that you really can't mess up! It was so fun!

Celebrating Christmas with George

We love our Wednesday night dinners with George. This year, he got the girls the sweetest gift - he has one of these singing birds at his house that the girls LOVE and play with EVERY week we're there! What a thoughtful man!

"Santa brought presents!"

After we got back from celebrating Christmas in Florida with the fam, the girls got to open their presents at home!

They each got a Care Bear, a jewelry box, new My Little Pony sheets for their beds, and a "super cape" that they got to color themselves!

Christmas 2015

Once again, we had a wonderful Christmas at home with the entire family! It is always so fun to be home with everyone and I absolutely LOVE watching our kids be cousins - we are SO BLESSED!

On Wednesday, the 23rd, The Redland Company had their annual BBQ - and all the grandkids got to serve lunch to the employees. The kids had  a ton of fun being big helpers!

Pop Pop got a basketball hoop for his early Christmas present!

This kid is SUCH. A. HAM! He loves his Pop Pop - I mean, who wouldn't love this man??!!

The kids love to swim - even when the water is a little chilly!

Look at these goofballs trying on the goofy glasses Pop Pop got for Christmas!

Girls day out while the boys were at hunting camp.

Just horsing around on the compound!

Christmas Eve at Grandma Munz's house. Miami Marlins hats for the boys, nightgowns for the older girls, and jewelry for the young girls.

Christmas morning at Mimi and Pop Pops - stockings are the BEST!

We are so very blessed. I know it - but I am so overwhelmed by just how blessed we are each and every time we are all together! I am so thankful that God allows us to be together and that we have so much fun spending time with one another! I am also so thankful for Mimi and Pop Pop - their endless hospitality, generosity, and deep love for each and every one of us! We love you and are so thankful you put up with us and our chaos!
