Random, but cute, phone pics!

Now that I have a "fancy" phone that my daddy gave me, I take a lot more pictures on it than I ever have before.  I need to get in the habit of uploading them to my computer more frequently!  Here are a few in no particular order.

Anna rockin' the purple shades
Kate didn't want me to take her picture :)
Chalk isn't just for writing on the ground, right mom? (Anna L, Kate R)
The girls love their new chairs! (Kate L, Anna R)
Someone is READY FOR SUMMER!!  (Kate)

BIG Helpers!

Last weekend was gorgeous and we got to spend lots of time outside.  The girls love to "help" with anything and everything and so, Daddy put them to work!  First, helping plant seeds for our garden and then washing Mommy's car.

Apparently Anna wanted to mow the grass on Daddy's "tractor".
Glad it is finally warming up enough to play in the hose!
This helping stuff is hard work!  We better take a break for a snack!

Happy Valentine's Day

Phil and I aren't much on celebrating Valentine's Day as a couple.  We don't see anything "wrong" with it, but we just agree that we should be showing our love for eachother every day, not just on a day that card writers and candy companies have designated as the day of "love".  However, I think I am going to have fun celebrating with the girls!  Because of the snow, their Valentine's Day party at school was postponed, but that just gave me a little more time to put their treats together for their friends.  I will have to admit that this working momma was definitely a lot less creative than some of the other mommas, but I will just have to accept that I am not as crafty as some :)

Here are a few pictures of their party at school.
Kate sure seems to be enjoying her juice - she NEVER gets it, so what a treat!

Mimi sent Valentines treats too! Bubbles and Bandaids....you can sure tell she has 12 grandkids and knows what they will like!  THANK YOU MIMI!

Dear Jesus

We pray with the girls before meals and at bedtime.  Kate usually keeps her eyes open and looks around while we pray, but Anna closes her eyes tight and usually "talks" to Jesus the whole time Phil or I am praying.  One night before bed, we asked Anna if she wanted to pray, and this is her "prayer"...so sweet!

I pray she continues to talk to Jesus so openly and wih such excitement!

CRAZY Weather

On Sunday, the girls had so much fun finally getting outside! It was even warm enough to sport their new flip flops!

By Tuesday, this is what it looked like outside...

Meanwhile, inside, I was busy keeping these two cuties occupied!

When the weather finally let up, we got to play in the snow!
Seriously mom? You're killin' us!

The girls even got to go sledding for the first time! SO MUCH FUN!

And, it's supposed to be in the upper 50's again this weekend! Sheesh! Make up your mind weather!

Snow Days

Having lived in Chicago for a few years, I find it almost humorous how Atlanta deals with snow!  Nevertheless, I enjoy the extra time to spend with my family!  School released early from school on Tuesday and after getting 2 whole inches of snow, we have been out for the remainder of the week!  We have had some fun playing in the snow but, for the most part, we have been cozied up inside trying to keep 2 two-year-olds occupied!

Here are some fun videos and pictures of the girls playing in the snow for the first time!

The Foxes Come to Visit

We were blessed to have another visit with the Foxes!  It is so fun to have friends that go so far back (Melissa and Grace have been friends since they were 2 which means I have known their family since I was BORN!) and I love that our kids are getting to know eachother too!  They made the trek up to us again and we had so much fun spending the long weekend together.  We were even able to get a sitter one night and went out without the kiddos :)  Their kids are absolutely precious and our girls love playing with them.  We hope we get to see them again soon!
Night out! (the boys were there too :)
Fun with sweet Taylor in the sand box
Say "cheese" Blake!  Seriously the CUTEST KID EVER!
Veggie sticks all around!

We even got to celebrate Phil's birthday - Melissa made a delicious boston creme cake!
We LOVE you Fox family and LOVE having you visit!  We can't wait to see you again soon!
